"The story of Jim.
There is a man who loves to eat very much. In his mind, he no longer wants to have a diet, he feels tired of people's suggestions that he needs to have a diet. He loves food more than what the society dictates him to do.
Jim is a kind and a generous man. Despite being a big man who loves eating his food, he still shares his food with everyone who wants. He offers food, he does not let other people to feel awkward asking for food. At times, he buys food for two and when he can't consume all, he gives the other one to some stranger or street people. He is Jim.
But what the society sees is that Jim is just a lazy man who eats and eats a lot of food. Being so big, the society does not consider the life of Jim. What they see is what they get, and that is how they judge. The society does not consider the inner core of a man, the society just looks at what they see in you. What they see as Jim is different of who really is Jim.
This is why Jim is sick of people's comments. Jim is happy in his life, he still continues living the life he wants. He still eats everytime he wants. He does not follow the society's rules. Because he knows that whatever he may does, the society will still judge him. Jim accepted his reality and just wanted to live for as long as he does the good things in life.
Thank you Jim. I am one of those people you shared your food then. Many times you offered me your food and so I wanted to live my life too, determined to be financially stable, and be helpful to people too. I salute you, Mr Jim. You are my inspiration. At the time of your death, I was the only one in your house then. Your last words had me starstruck until now.
Mr. Jim's last words say: Do what makes you happy. I know too much intake of food would lead me to death. But I'd rather eat everything I want before I die, than to suffer and not to eat everything I want while living a long life. Choose happiness, not misery.
This is the story of Jim narrated by his adopted street child.
Thank you very much."
This is not a true story. Just a story created for my other blogs. I just wanted to share this with you as a separate article. Thanks. :)
