The First Time(s) with First Love

The story starts with Zhab, a high school freshmen of Republic Central Colleges (RCC) and he belongs to the highest section which is the Diamond. His class are called Cream of the Crop among all the sections in the first year of his batch.

In his young age, 13 years old, he had a crush with a girl whom he does not know. He wanted to know her name but he does not know how. Also, he was too shy to know the girl and he is not yet much close to his classmates to ask for the girl's name.

That time, Friendster was still the most used social network. Zhab is very active there though they don't have their own computer. He still needs to go to the computer shop just to open his Friendster account. He already added his classmates to be his friend on his Friendster. One time, one of his classmates and the girl became friends on that social network. Zhab immediately checked out the Friendster to look closely to the picture and luckily, she really was the girl. Zhab found out that Yeye was her nickname, they were both freshmen on the same school and then added her as a friend.

Soonafter, they became friends, they became close and send comments to each other's Friendster profile although the girl does not yet know that Zhab was also studying in the same school, RCC. Zhab knew that Yeye was just in the classroom next to them.

One day, Zhab went to Yeye's classroom for a while and met her personally, he was quite shy to talk. A new friendship was built. They became closer though they talk seldom personally, but in Friendster they are connected well. The intimacy between them made him fall in love for the first time in his life - First Love.

Zhab is still not too close with his classmates, so no one knows but him that he has a crush with that girl. However, his classmates also knows Yeye and also, they know that Zhab and Yeye are friends. Zhab heard his friends talking of Yeye, he knew then that one of his guy classmates also loves the girl and planned for courtship. Zhab stay silent like he has not heard of it.

Few days later, Zhab's classmate is already courting the girl. Zhab didn't do anything, in fact, he helped the guy with her. How weak Zhab was, aside of fighting for his feelings, he just let it happen.

Soon, Zhab's classmate and Yeye were in a relationship. This also became the first heartbreaking feeling of Zhab. However, Zhab stays a friend of both; no hard feelings and felt happy for them. Zhab and Yeye remain friends and became closer.

The next year, an issue went out to the campus. What it is? They knew that Zhab confessed to Yeye privately though Zhab does not have an intention to court that time. Maybe it was Yeye who said it to others and that's how the gossip goes. People often tease them especially Yeye with that issue which she does not want. By that time, Zhab thinks Yeye got mad with him with unknown reasons. Yeye's actions are different, she used to snob Zhab along the way and does not talk to him anymore - even on Friendster.

Zhab felt sad and tried to say sorry for what happened, unfortunately, he thinks it was not accepted. Zhab just went to the flow and so both of them are strangers again.

On January 1 of the following year, they are still freshmen, Zhab greeted Yeye with "Happy New Year" and she responded the same. They became friends again soon after, and guess what, their friendship got better than before.

Time flies so fast, they were already Seniors. The last school year for high school is when graduating students have mixed emotions. By next year, the two would possibly separate from each other.

Zhab is thinking that someday they'll be on different schools, he is afraid that they'll get separated. Zhab, once again will confess and ask for courtship this time because he does not want to waste time anymore. Well, Yeye is now single since she broke up with that guy before.

Facebook is already the trend, and so Zhab sent a private message to Yeye. And so they had chat, they talked about the love thing. He was rejected. Zhab does not know why, he really wonders why but there's nothing he can do so he just accept the fact. However, they remained friends. Zhab made a love poem for Yeye entitled "Tonight I Can Write For You." Zhab made his own version of the poem Tonight I Can Write by Pablo Neruda to express his feelings to her. Yeye appreciated it so much.

Over the years, Zhab was linked and had relation with many girls. Also, there he found his true love. Guess what?! It was Yeye who gave the cellphone number of the girl which Zhab has fallen in love with now. It was the first love who made the mightiest connection between Zhab and his new Love.

And the day of graduation came, they had "beso-beso" for the first time and he felt happy for that night. Unfortunately, they were unable to have a picture together although they knew each other for the whole High School Years.

During the summer, they text each other and Zhab was quite happy for Yeye will study also on Holy Angel University, the same school where Zhab will study for college. Luckily, they belong to the same department (CBA) although they have different course. Until now they remain in touch with each other and chats when time allows them to.

Well, both of them are planning to enter the business sector since both have business courses. Zhab told Yeye that maybe someday, they might work together in one company. He jokes that if Yeye becomes a manager of the company, Zhab might be employed by Yeye.

There are times that Zhab seems to be at a downfall in his career. There are times when Zhab feels down about his course, he chats Yeye and talk some friendly matters like 'Zhab is worried if he fails and not become her accountant in the business." Until they finally enjoy talking and fee relieved.

Zhab and Yeye remain friends, which they can call as True Friendship. They seldom meet, but when they talk, it's real.

Later on, Zhab realized that fate let them not fall in love for it is friendship which will make them together longer. How nice :))
