Crying Boy

At last, I finally found the one
To give me love and share me joy
Within her sight she makes me stun
And leave me thinking I'm not a crying boy.

You care, I care, we love, we grow
We grew up in love that we promised together
This spark is known as finest glow
The trigger of believing forever

To prove our love is just natural
Become the best of the 'husbands and wives'
To fight for love is just ideal
But why did we end up different lives

The love we had, we shared so far
Is beyond compare to the love for the next
I still wish there's 'us' on the brightest star
That you will remember, and send me text.

I thought I moved on when I found another
Eliminate the craziness and feelings of blue
But why in the nights I still go wonder
I still sleep with the thoughts of you

I thought I grew up with you
We just spent time together like a toy
In the end, my eyes are like raining view
I am still the crying boy.

First Time For The Second Time

In the field of black flowers, you stood up in white
In the clouds of the blue sky, see you flying as kite
When I prayed for an angel, the heaven sent you
This is you in my eyes, the first time I met you.

When I look at you, I can see our beautiful future
Like in trials and hindrance, all things we can endure
I went near you, talked, laughed, and introduced myself
The preface of our book to put on the shelf.

Writing an unforgettable story is never perfectly done
But serenading you traditionally is probably the best one
Just look at how grandparents stay together until today
Compared to our generation of lover's 'come what may'.

As teenagers cry when hearts had been broken
As parents believe that new love is forsaken
We still believe with each other to stay
We fought the fight whatever others would say.

The flowers were red, the chocolates are brown
Happy are the days we're together, forgot how to frown
The carpet is delicate red, your dress is purely white
We had the wedding, and made love at the first long night.

We are four on this big squared red-tinted roof
Eating favorite flavors of ice cream with unlimited scoop
We grew big, our loving family and your beautiful body
As we happily welcome a newborn baby.

Our love suddenly had a roller coaster ride
Events turned up and down, side by side
What on earth did I do to make this happen?
She got mad and we're never together again.

We had misunderstood quarrel ended with words of swords
Went out drank beers I can buy, but say sorry I cant afford
I got messed up by a girl on fire, put me too on fire
On the cold soothing morning, woke up in bed I'm a liar.

The sorry is too late, the damage got bigger
I guess we are never meant to be together
I would correct all imperfections if I could just bring back time
Can we meet again like it's first time for the second time?

The house is burnt with anger but the soil is still there
Maybe we could start building the home with care
Just forgive me once, we'll be back on track
That mistake, we'll just laugh at it on the future when we look back.

I guess I will no longer need time machine to manipulate time
Because I no longer need to meet her first time for the second time
A sincere and pure love and faith can overcome the heaviest crime
Think well of what is most worthy, indeed the most valuable is time.

Boom Casoy! SUGOI!!!

HAHAHA. Seryoso ako kuha ka na ng tissue.

To start, I never expected to have a friend with more than ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND MESSAGES in the conversation thread. But I am expecting more messages, links, pictures, videos, kpop stuffs, jeje stuffs, chicser stuffs, other stuffs, hearts, stickers, foods to come. :)

Hahahahaha. Salamat sa Facebook. :D

Now, let's talk about purpose in life. Napakaimportante nito. Nang dahil sayo, naging kaibigan ko kayo. Naging close friend kami ni Hannah dahil pinadala mo sakin yung Maxx candy, napasama ako sa circle of friends mo in which hindi naman talaga ako part noong magkaklase pa tayo. Akalain mo friends pa kami ni Teng kahit di man ako masyado kinakausap hahahahahhahahahaha. Salamat. :)

HAHAHA. If not for you, siguro loner na rin ako.

From gradeschool hanggang kay koreana seoulmate. Benefit of being my friend, pwede mo na akong ibalita sa dyaryo at sa media. LOL. Gusto mo ng clue? :D Abangan mo magpapapresscon ako. LOL Feeling artista talaga eh ahhahahaha. Pero para fair. Ireveal din natin yung sayo. Papicture kayo ni Pugo. Hehehehe

This is so unlikely of me. Hahaha.

Basta thank you very much for being my friend. Don't worry, kung naddepress ka, you can always talk to me, kahit anong sabihin mo, ang importante eh may masabihan ka dahil mas kailangan mo yun. Alam mo yan :D

Kamsa hamnida! Saengil chukha hamnida! :D FIGHTING! :)
PS. Tumutugtog yung Ordinary Song ni Wang habang ginagawa ko to. :D So alam mo na kelan ko ginawa to? :D

What A Man You Are

WHAT A MAN YOU ARE!!!!!
By Hannah Antonio

Dear Zhab,
This opportunity I grab
To respond and thank you
For everything and the handsome view

You are a man like no other
A woman that can never shutter
You bring this sunshine
That makes me fine

Your face I was amazed
For the cheeks that make me shriek
Oh, I jest ‘cause I was stressed
I couldn’t find a word I confess

What a man you are
Always there for us even if you are far
The things you give to us, even small
Are the things we appreciate all in all

What a man you are
Saying you are handsome
A punch, you want some?
I jest again in this hour

What a man you are
Blessed with a good heart
And blessed with a good brain
Someday, with your dream, you’ll go far

I’m glad you took my challenge
And knew some of your thoughts of me
This I give because I am in glee
Make me more in glee by giving me some milk tea

My heart is not truly the prize
Your desire I know and I smize

No, it’s not French fries
But it’s some extra rice

Posted here the way it was given to me. No editing.

Hannah Banana Split

I take this challenge because you told me to
And I don't know how to start this too
So here's a question to start this intro
Hannah, what can I say about you?

First of all, I'm grateful that we're like close friends
It's unexpected, but I hope it never ends
To me, not just a friend, you're godsend
No more FO, so friendship won't suspend. :)

What else can I say about you?
Would you mind telling me about you too?
Is there are part of you that's blue?
Tell me how I can help or give me a clue.

Let's dig in deeper to make sense in this poem
"What do you feel when you're with him or see him?"
I'm not interested with the answer but you know who's 'him'
Well, I didn't say a name but you thought of him. ;)

Now let's move on to accounting... STOP?
No, I won't discuss or give some stuffs
Let me just describe you in words and pickups
It's up to you to think if fact or bluff. :D

If you're an asset, you're like a Land
Because for now you 'appreciate' in your age and
I'm not saying you're hampaslupa with the sand
You 'appreciate' because you're growing, understand? :D

If you're a liability, would you like to be?
But we all have to be a liability
For the good that people have given to thee
You have to offer back the good given to thee.

If you're an equity, you are the reserves
Because you belong to someone who deserves
You have unrealized gains with verves
That someday you will realize as life will serve

In the income statement, you can't be sales
Because a woman like you is not for sale
But don't worry your business is doing well
Because you are still an income to tell.

Are you goods on consignment?
Because even you're held by others, I know you're mine
Are you an operating lease?
Because they will hold you only for a while, and return to me after a while. :D

Are you an asset, like a model?
Because you're so beautiful that they want to own you.
Are you a goodwill?
Then you should join Ambassador of Goodwill. :)

Stop with these pickup lines, I have something to share
People have asked me before if I like you, are you aware?
Before I give you my answer, I also have a dare
To make this poem interesting, and make it fair. :D

The question was simple when I was asked, it's shocking though
Now, how would you react if I said 'Yes' or if I said 'No'?
Whatever we will say, it won't affect us two
Because of course, as a friend, I will always like you.

I do not expect this poem to be very long
But this could be longer if I knew you more all along
I hope our ties would be stronger than strong
In Teng Agency, we will always belong. :)

But wait, where are the metaphoric statements?
To have this poem like a sentiment
Where art thou the message so sweet and frequent
Words of wisdom has to be present

People are looking for golds at the end of the rainbow
But looking for you isn't at the end, you are the rainbow
And people wait for rain to end just to search for the rainbow
I'd rather enjoy the rain until you show up - the rainbow

Until now, I see you as a sea of mystery
I know less, but I'm diving to see
I was wrong, I don't have to dive coz you're the treasury
A friend more precious than any jewelry

You're a realistic book that I have to keep
Put myself as bookmark on the pages to clip
I'll keep reading til the end the pages I will shift
Like learning you while I am travelling in your life as bookclip.

I end this poem as I give you thanks
Wondering how you bear with my pranks
How could you stand being my friend as I think
But don't tell me, just signal the wink. ;)

This poem is longer than how I won in cba days
This could rank higher than the first place
Okay, now I am waiting your loving heart for the prize
Just kidding, I just have to eat some more extra rice. :)

A Noble Cause for a Noble Death

I met this man who lived for people
He ignites them to follow the call
He is using the mightiest swords
To lift up faith with his holy words.

Like a shelter to keep them from harm
During darkest nights, they will feel warm
Like a shield to protect his people
Keep everyone safe within hiss wall.

When we feel pulled in bow and arrow
Pushed on better things, launch the arrow
He destroys demons using spear
Telling us there's nothing to fear.

Had followers as his companions
Encountered bad guys who break unions
Despite bad deeds he gave forgiveness
Jesus Christ's death has shown Godliness.

I admire this man with a noble cause
Who is triumphant despite his loss
His end started the beginning
Faith is restored in human beings.

The Story of Jim (Poem)

There is this man, whose name is Jim
He's big, fat, doesn't go to gym
Society sees: A man of food
Society can't see that he's good.

Jim is kind and generous man
He offers food to everyone
He's not greedy, gives more to poor
He knows they need it more for sure.

Seen as lazy, fat in physique
They cannot see he is unique
There's value inside gift wrappers
Don't judge the book by their covers.

Mister Jim's sick of society
Doesn't follow the views of many
He, who joins the crowd, are like them
He, who joins the good, are not damn.

He decided to live by his rules
Doesn't let people feel like fools
He, who does good things, is just fine
He, who seeks good in life, shall find.

I once got food from Mister Jim
I have learned to give thanks to him
I'm one of the children in streets
Before my adoption and treats.

Thank you Mister, I'm doing good
I also share to people my food
Taught me: Giver than receiver
Let the society receive from giver.

Your last words still struck me:
"Choose happiness, not misery.
I'd rather die and be happy,
Than to live long and feel lonely."

Ate much despite society's views
Lived well before saying 'adios'
Your life to us is a message
Let's live our own and do not judge.

10 Years From Now

In the subject 'Professional Development and Personal Relations' (PDPR), we are asked to make a two minute speech that talks about how see ourselves as a person 10 years from now. I wonder how can a speech be in a short time, but I am relieved for not having to memorize a speech for a longer time.

Here is my speech:

"How do I see myself 10 years from now? Let me start my speech by sharing to you something. When I was a child, I saw myself to become an Engineer years from those days. However, years later, my dreams shifted to becoming a chef of my own restaurant. And here I am now, I am a fourth year student of the course BS Accountancy with dreams of becoming a Certified Public Accountant.

It seems like the way I see myself in the future is pretty different to what God wants for me. I dreamed of becoming an Engineer or Chef but the Lord brought me into something bigger, being a CPA of the future.

Now, I can see my future quite brighter, I believe 10 years from now, I am a Certified Public Accountant with the number 6-5-4-3-2-1.

Earning a 6 digit salary, in 5 working days, riding a 4 wheeled car, living in a 3 storey house, with 2 lovable children, and 1 faithful, beautiful life time partner.

That's all, thank you. :)"

Korean and I

"This is a story of a Korean and a Filipino. *Korean and student buddies react* *Kurt smiles*

A group of Koreans travelled in the Philippines as tourists but also as students. They reached a city where Koreans are well accepted in the society.

The city has a lot of beautiful places and also delicious cuisines that the country is very proud of. One time, at a restaurant, the Korean girl asked someone whom she thought is a waiter. She asked for the bill, the guy gets it for her, then the guy said he is not one of the staffs in the restaurant and told me to pay the bill to the attending waiters. The Korean thanked him but she felt guilty that he might feel embarassed. The Korean was unable to get the guy's name since he rushed to go.

Days later, the guy showed up. He showed up in front of us Koreans. The guy is studying on the school where the Korean is studying. The surprising part is, the guy is one of the students who will attend as the student buddies for the Koreans in the school. In short, the Korean and the Filipino guy will be together for the entire academic program of the Koreans. Is this coincidence or serendipity? Who knows.

Days went on. The Korean girl and the Filipino guy gets closer and closer to each other. They are always together, on conversations, on groups, on activities, even on sleeping on the couch. The Korean is happy when she is with him, but she is bothered of what could happen in the near future. But still, they both enjoy each other's company.

The girl, she is in love, but with someone else. The girl is bothered that if the situation continues, she might fall in love to someone else while her current love is in Korea. The Korean is also wondering if the guy feels the same for her, because she might fall and the guy will not catch then get hurt. This thoughts come to her every night before she sleeps and while the cold Philippine air feels her skin. The korean kept everything to herself.

The Korean and the Filipino continued what they are doing and enjoys each other's company. They had a pleasant and memorable friendship. When the Korean has to go back to South Korea, she thanked the Filipino guy of having a wonderful and happy trip in the Philippines. The girl cried in the plane until she reached South Korea."

This is also a story from my other blogs. Just wanted to share here.

This is actually a story with a cliffhanging ending. The story is too long.

Whatever happens next? Who knows?

The Story of Jim

"The story of Jim.

There is a man who loves to eat very much. In his mind, he no longer wants to have a diet, he feels tired of people's suggestions that he needs to have a diet. He loves food more than what the society dictates him to do.

Jim is a kind and a generous man. Despite being a big man who loves eating his food, he still shares his food with everyone who wants. He offers food, he does not let other people to feel awkward asking for food. At times, he buys food for two and when he can't consume all, he gives the other one to some stranger or street people. He is Jim.

But what the society sees is that Jim is just a lazy man who eats and eats a lot of food. Being so big, the society does not consider the life of Jim. What they see is what they get, and that is how they judge. The society does not consider the inner core of a man, the society just looks at what they see in you. What they see as Jim is different of who really is Jim.

This is why Jim is sick of people's comments. Jim is happy in his life, he still continues living the life he wants. He still eats everytime he wants. He does not follow the society's rules. Because he knows that whatever he may does, the society will still judge him. Jim accepted his reality and just wanted to live for as long as he does the good things in life.

Thank you Jim. I am one of those people you shared your food then. Many times you offered me your food and so I wanted to live my life too, determined to be financially stable, and be helpful to people too. I salute you, Mr Jim. You are my inspiration. At the time of your death, I was the only one in your house then. Your last words had me starstruck until now.

Mr. Jim's last words say: Do what makes you happy. I know too much intake of food would lead me to death. But I'd rather eat everything I want before I die, than to suffer and not to eat everything I want while living a long life. Choose happiness, not misery.

This is the story of Jim narrated by his adopted street child.

Thank you very much."

This is not a true story. Just a story created for my other blogs. I just wanted to share this with you as a separate article. Thanks. :)

Soulmate

What does it mean to have a soulmate?
Does it happen when two souls meet?
In search for one, what are the chances
You'll meet the precious one, not the hoaxes.

They say when you share the same crap, you found her
Does it need to be the same forever?
What if the real thing isn't just similarities?
But loving similarities and respecting differences.

Or the question is, is there really a soulmate?
One whom you can share your entire life with
Like meeting her is the most meaningful in your life
Like the person is meant to be your wife.

If there is really a soulmate, why not to everyone?
Why does somebody doesn't meet her someone?
Why should one has to grow old alone?
If soulmate just really exist in the zone.

Or let's say soulmates really do exist
But doesn't mean it's a love to cherish
Maybe a friend, bestfriend, or lover
That comes in life for a page or a chapter.

What does it mean to have a soulmate?
Does it happen when two souls meet?
To whatever it may mean, one thing is certain
Our souls feel good to meet precious people again.

Why I Love South Korea

Annyeong haseyo! :)

South Korea is one of the places I want to travel and discover someday. In the Philippines, there is a growing population of Koreans, even on national televisions the Koreans are having a good show. The show business industry of South Korea is also having a market share in the Philippines. Filipinos may not be good at Korea's language, they still enjoy listening to their songs. There are many reasons to love South Korea. Why do I love South Korea?

Travel

Someday, hopefully soon, I want to step into the 'Land of the Morning Calm' and enjoy the interesting life of Koreans. Korean dramas are giving me an expectation of enjoying the life in the cities of South Korea. First place I want to go to is the capital city, Seoul. The night life seems very fun and alive there. One spot in Seoul that interests me is the Namsan Tower where the people brings a metal lock and locks it in that place. I wonder why, but one friend of mine mentioned to me before that the purpose of the lock is for couples to vow to never separate. I would love to put my own lock with someone there. :)

One more place is the Jeju Island, a beautiful place to stay. In Korean dramas I could see couples having their honeymoon in the place. Is it that romantic in Jeju Island? Interesting.

I also want to take a look at the Kirin Art School. The setting of my favorite Korean series - Dream High.

Here is a good promotional video of Seoul I watched years ago:

Someday, if favored, I would want to go to all those places and to some other beautiful places in South Korea. And if I go there, I would definitely try many kinds of food. :)

Food and Cuisines

Kimchi, a spicy korean dish, is one popular food in the Philippines as influenced by Koreans. My father is fond of making his own Kimchi as well, which is kinda similar to that of the Koreans. At times, he just buy imported Kimchi products. I already had a taste of the said Kimchi, and it's good! :)

Known korean dish is Bibimbap. The dish consists of rice and served with seasoned vegetables on top with additions of beef and newly cooked egg. A food chain in SM Clark, a mall in the Philippines, is serving the said dish and there is where I first encountered it. My sister also likes the dish as she cooks her own Bibimbap in the kitchen and our family is delighted with the greatness of the dish.

A korean franchise has opened in the SM Clark, the Caffe Bene. The franchise is serving korean varieties of food from cakes to latte to bingsu. The bingsu is definitely a must-try! The cold dessert has variety of ingredients such as the fruits you want, then the milk, syrup, ice cream topping, condensed milk and of course ice. Other desired flavors can also be incorporated if you will make personalized bingsu. I find this food similar to Philippines' Halo-halo.

Korean community is expanding in the Philippines. In Angeles City, you can find a place called Korea Town because of many Koreans living there. Korean restaurants are also growing in the city. I want to try the samgyupsal and other food cuisines offered by these restaurants. The Korea Town is said to exist within the so-called Friendship Highway outside the area of Clark.

The last food I will mention is very famous in Korea, for having it's own special day during November 11 (11/11) and is observed to be similar to Valentine's day. I really love this cookie stick, known as Pepero, a chocolate-filled flavored snack in South Korea. I have known about this Pepero day where people give Pepero to show affection to other people. How sweet, as sweet as the Pepero.

I would want to taste some more of the Korean cuisines! And it is best eaten while enjoying the Kpop industry. :)

Show Business

First of all, I am not into Kpop industry. But just because I am not into it, I won't be a fan.

I like Kpop. I may not be like idolizing too much of the Korean artists, but I have thorough knowledge of the industry as it is famous in the Philippines. The music, the dramas and movies, the artists - very awesome!

Korean Music. I don't understand Korean language but as far as music is concerned, I sing korean songs. (I may not be good at singing, that doesn't mean I won't sing :D) My favorite song is about a birthday, the title is 'Winter Child' as sung by Suzy Bae (Miss A) in a series. When I likely korean songs, I am looking for their english meanings so as to understand its meaning. But at times, I just sing though I don't understand. :D Well, as said by Mr. Kang in the series Dream High, "Music is a universal language. They (Korean&Japanese) understand each other through music." Though I don't understand them, so far I already memorized the songs though with inaccurate lyrics. For the record, though I'm not a solid fan of Super Junior, my favorite music video with its song is the No Other.

Korean Series and Movies. Korean dramas are very famous in the Philippines. In every TV channel, there are like 3-5 series being shown everyday. Korean series has been an additional flavor to the national television. And no doubt, the series are very good as they continue in being aired, when a series end, another one will air. Filipinos already accepted the Korean culture, and many are already into it. Generally among the teens, they love watching series and dramas from Korea. And at times, they already have watched it before even coming to national television. The internet greatly helped the filipinos in coping with Korean culture. I, personally, have favorites of course. Among the series, I love Dream High the most and others are Secret Garden, Baker King, etc. The first series I have watched I guess is Full House starring Rain and Song Hye Kyo. When it comes to movies, I will never forget Miracle in Cell No. 7, the story of societal injustice to a man with disability, a father who greatly loves his child named Yesung. In Youtube, I have watched a lot of Korean movies uploaded there, all with english subtitles. :)

Korean Artists. Ask a teenage Filipino and he will give you a name of his favorite Korean artist(s). My personal pick (my 'bias' as called by fans) is Suzy Bae, I knew her first in the series Dream High. She's a member of a Kpop group, Miss A, but she got very popular in korean series. Another notable acting performance of Suzy is in the series Big and on the movie Architecture 101.  But my first korean crush is Song Hye Kyo who starred in Full House, next is Jeon Ji Hyun who starred in My Sassy Girl and Windstruck. I also know other artists namely Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Hyun Joong, Psy, Dara, IU and many more. Some other Kpop groups such as 2NE1, SNSD, Super Junior, SS501, UKiss, etc.

Though she's just my second female korean idol, Jeon Ji Hyun is still the best actress I have ever watched and idolized for I have watched almost all of her movies, my favorites are My Sassy Girl and Windstruck,  and watched her series with the Philippine title My Love From The Star. Another notable movie is Il Mare. She is incredible I should say, and very beautiful.

Dara is a Korean artist from 2NE1 who started her career in the Philippines, and I have been a fan of her even before she became famous in South Korea.

UKiss is the first Kpop group I witnessed performing live on-stage in SM Clark. They have a little influence on why I like Kpop music.

There are a lot of great people in Korea that I want to meet. It must be good to have Korean Friends.

Korean Nationals

I already said this a couple of times in this article that the Korean population in the Philippines is growing...a lot. I also mentioned the so called Korea Town in our city. In our school, there are also Korean students and some have became my classmates already. And sometimes, in our neighborhood, I could see some Koreans walking and I just greet them with 'Annyeong!' :)

It's great to have Korean friends. I am happy to say that I got part of our university's buddy program for having a month-long interaction with Koreans. For a short period time, I enjoyed having to talk with the Korean nationals.

To mention, they are from Korea Nazarene University in collaboration with Holy Angel University to have the Koreans an English Learning Program. As a part of the program is the HAU students having interactions with the Korean students.

A Certificate of Appreciation for being part of the program

First impression: They are cheerful. When I first entered the room where the Koreans are, I see everyone smiling and having fun. And on the subsequent days, I learned they are very friendly and cooperative. I also find them very cute :)

I am very pleased when I got my haircut and many of them are saying that I am cute. That was the first time Korean people made compliments to me and it's a pleasure.

I am surprised and happy to know that they love Philippine Mangoes as well as the dry mangoes. I didn't expect them saying a huge 'WOW' when we entered the room with mangoes. To one of my friends among them, she mentioned one particular product which is a mango chocolate and as a token of friendship, I gave her 2 packs of the said Philippine product. Hi Seu! :)

Yes, one month went too fast, but in that short period we have made friendships with one another. We became friends on Facebook for continuous communication and interaction.

And in that short period, I could say, I will miss them...very much. I am very honored and glad to meet the Korean buddies and hopefully we could meet each other again someday.

Here is a picture of our Korean friends with a tour guide in a vacation trip to Pangasinan visiting the Hundred Islands, photo credit to 오한나 (Hanna Oh).
A group picture of our Korean friends with a tour guide.

I hope when I travel to Korea, I could meet them again. :) I love South Korea.

South Korea

I love the country with the fact that I have not been there. I already know many things that excites me to go to that country. What more if I experience life in South Korea? I will surely love the place more than how I love it now.

Having Korean friends, reaching out on their culture, enjoying their industries, loving their food and cuisines, and seeing the beautiful views of South Korea in photos. I cannot say that I am just a wanna-be tourist of their country, obviously I am in love with South Korea. I want to learn more about South Korea! :)

What else do I want to learn about South Korea?

First of all, I want to learn Korean letters or the 'Hangul'. I might have deeper appreciation of the Korean culture when I learn this since I can personally understand when I read Korean texts. Learning the 'Hangul' includes writing the korean letters and reading them with korean language. So it involves learning their language as well. This will be hard, but I hope I can do it. So far, I have limited words once I encounter Koreans I can greet them Hello, Goodbye, Thank You, and Happy Birthday. (Annyeong haseyo, Annyeonghi gaseyo, Kamsa Hamnida, Sangil Chukha Hamnida) I greeted one Korean today saying 'Sangil Chukha Hamnida' :) I learned from the Koreans the korean word for cute which is Gwi Yeo Wo, when they praised me as cute as stated earlier. Credits to 이슬이 (Seullee Lee) for the spelling of Gwi Yeo Wo. :)

Another is reaching further of their culture. Culture is very interesting to learn as it involves the norms, customs and tradtions of people. I knew that in Korea, Valentine's day during February 2014 is celebrated with women giving chocolates/goodies to men and a month later they will celebrate White Day when men will be the one to give something to women. Another tradition is mentioned earlier, the Pepero day.

Anything else, it will come along the way. I would learn more with friends.

How did I know stuffs about South Korea?

'Experience is the best teacher.' As I encounter Korean stuffs in life, I am happy to learn about them. When Korean songs got famous, I gave it a try to listen and sing as well. When the Korean series was first played in national television, I gave time to watch it. In life, you just have to be open to learn more things that are new to you. Learning is a continuous process, we don't stop learning.

Learning is also part of friendships. I have numerous friends who are great fans of the Kpop industry and they almost had adopted some of Korean traditions. Of course, being a friend, they may talk about it when you talk with them. There comes learning, sharing of learned stuffs to people. I could say that most of my knowledge about Koreans are greatly because of my friends.

The Korean friends mentioned earlier in this article are a little shock when I mention to them things I know about Korea. It's not that I boast that I know them, but to show them I appreciate their culture long before they came to the Philippines. :)

Some other sources to learn is the internet, where most of the information exist and have access immediately. :) Knowing more stuffs makes me love South Korea even more. :)

South Korea, I vow to meet you someday. :)

*Everything written here are personal ideas and experiences. I may not be accurate at some information but everything is with the best of my knowledge. To readers, this is something personal, and I hope you would love Korea the same as I do when you have an encounter of it as well. Photos with no credits were taken from Google Images.*

Thank you for reading!

They Never Met At All

He's got that round shape yet he's hot
People on earth rise when he's out
This big hot ball was named the sun
Tell me, why is he adored by everyone?

One smaller shiny ball exist in the dark
People usually rest and refrain from work
This amazing ball was named the moon
Tell me, why is he adored by everyone?

No one seems to love gazing at the sun
The pain in the eyes like stroked by a gun
But people loves the morning greeting
And working under the sun's heating

Everyone seems excited gazing at the moon
Like meteor showers are falling too soon
That phenomenon people wants to see called eclipse
Looks like two people touching their lips

The irony is the two are catching up with each other
They want to meet and lit the Earth with their power
But the twist of fate tells the world:
When one's not there, the other must do its job to the world.

The sun rises on east and falls in west
In the night the moon works at its best
At some part of the world it's sunny
The other part is seen as dark but shiny.

People's long distance relationship talks on phone
They find it crazy to have different timezone
They don't realize how hard it will be every time
The sun and moon is separated forever in daytime and nighttime.

I believe the sun loves the moon so much it hurts
He works harder in giving light to the earth
So people could receive the light they needed
And don't ask too much light from the moon they had.

The worst part is they never met at all
They can't see, when one rise the other fall
They wander who lights the world when they're not around
They don't know another ball gives light to surround

The sun loves the moon so much
So separated they can't even touch
When one hides the other lit
He died every night to let her breathe.

Why does it have to be this way
For fate to decide the night and day
But is this better to never meet at all
Than meeting once but separated the two balls?

Kakayanin

So anong pinaglalaban ko dito?

Kung mabasa mo man ito, until April 23. Please pray for me na makapasa ako sa exam. Bonus na yung magTop. Salamat ah :) Kakayanin!

See

The sight of one is getting blinded
By the fears of a painful tomorrow
The sight is lost, eyes were surrounded
By the past that brings her sorrow.

What can I do to make her see
The ways to truth and nothing else
I could guide her and walk with thee
Remove the shadows her heart tells

She sees the future dark and cloudy
The sun must shine right in her eyes
I'll bring her light when I'm ready
Make her think i'm not of the guys.

I'll make her see, restore her senses
High hopes is waiting for her
Rewrite the past for future tenses
It's the start of us together.

In Her Place

One cold night, while watching a Pokemon movie in my newly bought laptop, my friends messaged me through text to visit a former classmate who has a serious illness in the hospital. There were two groups, I got confused to whom I shall come with, though for the same purpose. So I came with the group who will come early. Then i'll just go with the other group after visiting the sick to watch some movies in theater.

I woke up at 7 am today, and stayed in bed until 8 am. Just a normal day, bathe early, went out of the house early, came at the meeting place early. Though I skipped breakfast today.

We arrived at the hospital at 11 am, it was just me and my friends who are visitors of my former classmate. Just a normal visit, we came in for her, sadly we were not able to talk to her for she's still unconscious from an operation. I didn't know what is the operation at the moment. We got busy talking and reminiscing of the moments when we were still classmates with our former classmate who is sick, we also took a look at her pictures. It hurts to see a very happy woman lying in the hospital bed with a very serious illness. But we believe that she can make it through, she can fight, she can survive.

I can feel that our visit was just in time, just a normal visit and we are there to see our former classmate after an operation. We were wishing she wakes up before we leave.

I can hear the mother of my friend, so proud of her daughter and talks about how grateful she is to have a very kind daughter. She reminisces the childhood days of her daughter, remembers the wants and needs while she was young, and suddenly cries when she looks at the hospital bed.

In my mind, I was thinking. I hope she's well until we leave. I think I can't take to see a situation where the time of non-survival arrives. So I really wish she'll be fine.

At almost 12 noon, the nurse came to feed the sick. Suddenly after feeding, blood comes out of the mouth. I have no idea what's happening. Until the nurse called for other nurses, then the mother went near and told the sick "Paynawa na ka ne, magkasakit naku". (Take your rest now, it's hard for me to see you like that)

Suddenly, there's a little panic. We prayed for her at the moment while the nurses are doing some health check. We sincerely pray for her. It's the mightiest weapon we have. When it's getting crowded in the room, we went out to give space for nurses and doctors.

Until they called on the relatives of the family, even all the friends and professors of the sick. The doctors went out and talked to the parents of the sick. I knew that the mother is wiling to give up the fight already, and the father made the hardest decision and the hardest to accept which is to give up her daughter. I saw it all. I can feel something strange in me since it's my first time to witness such scenario. We were outside, and the parents are also out of the room, I can see and feel the grief they carry in them.

Then we entered the room again, they were praying the rosary and we joined. The priest also came and performed the anointing of the sick. Then the parents went in, talked to their daughter they are willing to give up to the Lord. As I see the parents crying while talking to the sick, I CRIED. Both eyes dropped the tears.

It is unusual for me to cry. Many things are entering my mind as the tears drop from my eyes, maybe I could just write another article for that.

Soon, several classmates and friends and relatives came in for the sick. So crowded that we already create noise and disturb other rooms. So everyone just went out of the area and just come back next time.

The normal visit became a teary-eyed visit, I wasn't able to eat breakfast and lunch today. I was standing for about 4 hours, starving. Our plan to watch a movie pushed through, but I didn't join them as I choose to go home. But it's okay.

We left the hospital feeling hopeless for her, now the hope revives as she continues to fight for survival.

I'll just continue praying for her. And for everyone who will be able to read this, please speak a silent prayer for the sick people in the world.

What if, I was the one, in her place?
